Pazyryk carpet:

Pazyryk carpet is one of the oldest carpets found by prof. Rudenko in Siberia in 1949.The dimensions of the carpet are 2x1.83 m .Its color is a mixture of copper brown , light green and yellow .Its design is also a mixture including Achaemeneid, Assyrian and Sekaies .The main ground design includes Assyrian flowers with 4 petals and the margin consists of 5 rows; the first row is made of four-edged flowers which have Iranian Deer outside as the second row, the third and the fourth are multi petal flowers and Iranian riders respectively, and the margin which is the fifth row has legend winged animals inside. Pazyryk carpet has been woven with Turkish knots in 500 B.C. Its style of weaving shows that it was not the first experience of that time and has been originated from the skillful hands of expert weavers.

Goldani Carpet:

This carpet is which has been woven in Persian knot.
The woof and warp are cotton, and its pile is woven.
The dimensions are 1.74× 2.69 m and now are being kept in Logano in Swiss museum.

Abrishami Carpet:

The woven is in Persian knots.
This carpet has woolen warp and woof & pile is silken
The dimensions are 1.5× 2.44 m that made in Kashan during safavi and now is kept in Munchen museum.

Gol va Heyvan (flower & animal) Carpet:

The woven is in Persian knots.
Warp is woolen, woof is cotton and pile is woolen.
Dimension 2.29× 4.27 woven by Persian knot.
It had been woven in 10th century and now is kept in Washington National Gallery.

Moje darya (The see waves) Carpet:

The knot is Turkish.
The warp and woof of this carpet is cotton and pile is woolen.
Dimensions 3.72 ×6.77 m. The reason of naming this carpet is the sea wave designs which are on the carpet. Another name is Poraguese, because it had been woven by the order of Portugal.
It has been made in Kerman in safavit age and now is kept in Vienna Museum.

Shekargah Carpet:

The knot is Persian.
Warp is silk, woof is cotton and pile is woolen.
Dimension 3.6 5.7m woven in the Ghiathoddin Jami 10th century this carpet now is kept in Poldi Petzali museum of Milan.

Dimension 3.23× 695, for brocade twisted woven of gold and silver is known one of brocade carpet in the world. Weaved in the 10th century and in kept in Vienna museum.

Toranj & Heyvanat (Citron & Animal) Carpet:

This carpet in kept in Milan Museum and it has 568800 knots per meter. Warp & Woof are silk and pile is woolen. The ground is made of Toranj and Animal and by Considering this characteristics it is similar to Chelsee carpet, which is kept in Milan Museum.

Sajjadei (Prayer Carpet):

The knot is Persian. Warp is brown cotton and woof is natural wool and pile is wool and golden string Dimension 1.05 × 1.61, and there are 10000 knot per decimeter. At the top of the carpet is beautiful sentence of Allaho Akbar and now kept in Metropolitan museum of New York City.

Chelsea Carpet:

The knots are symmetrical.
This carpet is one of the most beautiful and carpet in the world, wrap and woof and silk and pile is woolen.
Dimension 360× 540 cm
The design includes two Toranj completely with side stigma and 2.5 Toranj related to margins.
In the dark red ground, there are animal like gazal, dear, lion and leopard.
This carpet is kept now in Victoria Albert in London.
It has been named Chelsea because it had been bought by a business man from Kingroad in Chelsea London.

Ardebil Carpet:

Ardebil or Sheikh Safi is one of the most precious carpets in the world.
Warp and woofs are silk and the pile is woolen.
Length is 11.52m and width is 534. It had been woven in 1525 and it has also date and signature.
This carpet had been woven for the century of Sheikh Safyoddin Ardabili who was the grand father of Safavi dynasty.
It had been exported by British company of Ziglar and sold to the Victoria Albert museum.
There is 517000 knots in every square meter of Persian knot.
It took 3/5 years to be woven and has very beautiful drawing in the middle.
There is a beautiful Torang with golden yellow color that 16 stigma have surrounded 16. The ground of carpet is dark blue and designed fully by very decoration elegant flowers and the borders have been decorated by inscription and small circles as others.
